Instance Cooldown Quest Name: Daily Farm Experience - Pending
Time Limit: 1 hour

  1. Talk to Ruinan /navi ba_maison 311/206 to create and enter the Instance.
    • Pitayas appear to be easier to deal with in the instance.
  2. Inside, interact with the Wooden Box where Silk is hiding.
  3. Play with the Pitayas that shows up, and will leave once they're satisfied.
  4. After listening to Silk's complaints, continue to assist her with petting when she calls them for feeding.
    • Some Pitayas will drop their tails when leaving which will be collected by Silk.
  5. Once the quota has been met, we will proceed to feeding the Boss Meow.
  6. But before that, we must deal with the Big Meows first.
  7. Silk gives us the choice of dealing with one of the two Big Meows marked on the mini-map.
  8. After playing with the Big Meow, head towards the northernmost area of the farm where Silk will be waiting for you.
  9. A bunch of Pitayas will show up along the way.
  10. Interact with the Wooden Box and Boss Meow will spawn near the box.
  11. After playing with Boss Meow, coax Silk out of her box and give her the tails you have collected and leave the instance.
  12. Tell Ruinan the results of the harvest. (For first clear)

  1. Return to the Flower Garden Entry Manager /navi ba_maison 119/319 to self-verify for the Restricted Zone 1.
  2. Sigma sends a robot to warn you but is promptly destroyed by Lambda.
  3. Lambda wants you to "assess" the security system.
  4. Defeat all the enemies to open a portal to the next zone.
  5. Continue to defeat enemies until Kappa opens a path to the Restricted Zone.
  6. Here you will fight Kappa (Fire 3 Formless).
    • You have the option of destroying the Guardian Parts that are spawned nearby to reduce its energy shield.
  7. Sigma will open a portal where you came in after defeating Kappa.

Restricted Zone 2 Access Permission

Instance is same as Restricted Zone 1, except monsters hit harder and have more HP. Senior Red Pepper Lambda has only 300M hp.

Tips for Lambda

After the 4th job patch in iRO on September 2023, it's said Lambda become stronger. Here are notes copy-pasted from a friend.
New Red Pepper Notes:

  • As long as Energy Shields are up, whether at "Default Status" or with "Broken Armor boosting shields", Pepper can use a portion of the damage dealt to it to boost its next skill - typically fireball, but i've also seen monstrously powerful firebolts and magnum breaks. This applies regardless of whether the damage dealt is physical, ranged or magical. In addition, the damage reduction by the shields is not taken into account. It will treat the counter damage as if it had received the full damage from the spell. This special effect is not maxpain, but it's still pretty bad.
  • Once the Energy Shields break (from destroying all 4 armors), you have the remaining amount of time (someone on the forum has suggested anywhere from 20 to 90s) to deal damage to Lambda. If you are attacking when the "Energy Shields have been restored to default status" appears, the person Pepper is attacking will likely die from the counter/damage boost effect shortly afterwards. Strangely, this is not seen in the videos of the instance from kRO and might be unique to iRO, which is annoying.
  • Even while shields are down, Pepper may still lash out with an extremely painful Critical Slash (this has always been the case since the first version on iRO). You typically need about 70k hp or so to cleanly survive the hit, so just be aware that this might happen because it probably will.

It seems like there is some kind of internal hit or damage counter on Pepper every time he performs the armor summon. If you clear all the 4 armors but then exceed the internal hits/damage counter, he'll start to acquire the damage bonus anyway, even if the Energy Shield has yet to return to default. It is said the damage counter is about 50-60M before he'll start to acquire the damage bonus.

If you're using an AB alt to tank like me, you can just stop attacking once he punches through prefaetio. On solos, stop attacking as soon as you start taking the big hits and wait for the next wave of armors, though from experience it tends to be tough to stop when you're just going full on dps.
