Custom Changes: General

  • Now the Super Invasions can give you between 10~50x  1000405.png Amethyst Fragments
    as an MVP title reward.
  • 1000405.pngAmethyst Fragments can now be purchased in High Difficulty instances (Varmundt's, OGH, GHC, etc.).
  • You can now become a Baby class without being adopted, via the Job Master at the Safe House.
  • The event PowXmas is running and will continue until January 6th.
  • The store has a few special items that weren't available before ;).
  • You are welcome to suggest other good costumes in our Discord suggestion channel <3. ::*I included the Varmundt's Biosphere: Ice map in the list of maps with a +50% Christmas bonus.
  • I added a way to create Cursed Waters and Aspersio Lv. 5 through the Exchange NPCs of the Item quest type.
  • You can now Re-Start as many times as you want, as long as you are not a Native 1X character.
  • The Wonder MVP system will now announce the general location of the Wonder MVP, as long as it's alive. This announcement happens every hour.

4th Classes

  • I will implement the 4th classes on December 6.
  • The Maximum Level will be increased to 260 for all classes, excluding the trans classes (sniper, HW, etc.).

Varmundt's Biospheres

  • I will implement the following dungeons from Varmundt's Biosphere:
  • The Varmundt's Biospheres can be accessed inside Varmundt's central mansion. They do not require quests and anyone can enter; you just need to go into the rooms (warps).

Constellation Tower

  • The implementation of the Constellation Tower usually means disabling the Endless Tower, but I decided to keep both instances active.

Disguise System

  • This update brings a major modernization to our custom costume system, resulting in the following improvements:
  • The 36015.png Monster Disguise has replaced the consumable costume item currently available on the server. Its functionality has been updated to allow players to disguise themselves as almost any mob in the game. The item remains consumable and can still be obtained through Invasions.
  • The new costumes are 36155.png Class Disguise and 36156.png Baby Disguise, which allow you to change your visual outfit to another within your same branch. Please check the Disguise page for more detailed information.

General Custom Changes

  • Leyla
  • Leyla will now heal you for free up to level 99.
  • Leyla now heals you after providing buffs, effectively saving you Zeny and time.
  • Leyla also restores your AP if you are a 4th class.
  • Travel Agency
  • I updated the sprite (appearance) of the Travel Agency. It now looks like a traveler.
  • The Travel Agency now warps you for free up to level 99.
  • The Travel Agency menu now indicates if there are people on the maps before you travel.

  • I improved the preferences menu; it now looks better, is better organized, some unused options were removed, and the Disguise menu was added.
  • Stylist
  • The entire clothing system has been revamped. We now have a maximum of 700 styles, which are custom-made and paid for, so they look better than before.
  • The Stylist allows you to change your character's clothing (style), even if you're wearing a Disguise. The cost is 1M Zeny and the required dye.
  • Characters at level 60 or below can now change their hair color, clothing style, and clothing color for free.

New Client

  • Our current client (2021) will be updated to a more user-friendly 2022 version:
  • Improved textures.
  • Smoother performance.
  • Supports the /skip command.
  • Allows skill spamming by holding down the key (clicking is still required for spamming).

Gepard

  • I updated our Gepard license, adding extra modules. We now have all modules:
  • Protection against No-Delay/0-Delay data.
  • @lgp.
  • !vsync
  • !ping
  • Colorable nicknames.
  • Colorable items.
  • Effects Manager.
  • I also updated our Gepard to allow most color-controlling software for keyboards and mice, while still detecting cheating attempts, such as macros and similar tools (about 15 people have been banned for these kinds of infractions)

Pow4Ever

  • It is a pleasure to announce that the Administrative Team is working on a second Pow server with the following features:
  • An exact replica of Pow4Ever 2012 as closely as possible.
  • Pre-renewal - Episode 13.2.
  • Dynamic rates that change every 4 hours.
  • Base Exp: 10x to 18x.
  • Job Exp: 10x to 18x.
  • Quest Exp: 10x to 18x.
  • Normal Drops: 9x.
  • MVP Drops: 5x.
  • Base Level: 220.
  • Job Level: 50 - 70.
  • Maximum Stats: 130.
  • Free Cast: 170 DEX.
  • Parties: Up to 20 characters with a 30-level share range.
  • All rebirth classes can have homunculi (customized).
  • Stat points are gained normally up to level 111, but from level 112 onward, only 1 stat point is awarded per level.
  • Hit, Flee, HP, and SP increase only up to level 160.

We will share more details about the project in the coming months, but our current goals are as follows:

  • Have the server 100% complete before launch.
  • Hold an Open Beta for at least 2 weeks, open to everyone to test the systems.
  • Release the client at least 1 month in advance so players can create accounts and reserve characters before the official launch.
  • Have the website (control panel), Discord, and Wiki ready before the server's official launch.
  • The Administrative Team already has a test version to experiment with features, and I can say that the foundation is complete. If I had to estimate progress, I’d say we are at least 85% ready. However, we are firmly against launching the server before it is fully prepared.
  • Our target launch date is December 2025, but depending on Open Beta results, we may finish much earlier.
  • What important things are still missing?
  • We need to finalize the following custom systems:
  • Training Bonuses.
  • Hidden Elite Wings Bonuses (e.g., Crystal Wings).
  • Custom Hat Slotting System (e.g., the one in Gonryun).
  • Unfortunately, there is no existing Wiki or information page containing this data. We are actively looking for people who remember these details to collaborate and ensure everything is done properly.

Important Changes

  • We have doubled the Experience rates permanently.
  • Why?
  • Because I am preparing the server for the upcoming episode expansions. Also, we concluded that it is a positive/healthy change after studying the updates from iRO and kRO, where they increased exp rates when they expanded episodes and released the 4th jobs. I concluded that reducing the difficulty of leveling is a good change, and that almost no one finds satisfaction in leveling alone; what is most important is reaching the stages where you can hunt valuable items or required levels to equip some renewal items (think 125, 150, 175, etc.).
  • I reduced the number of mobs to kill in the city/dungeon quest signs from 150 to 50, and significantly increased the experience they give.

EDDA: Old Pow

  • I implemented this new parallel continent, Old Pow. I hope it brings back some nostalgia. Here’s how it works:
  • To access EDDA: Old Pow, you only need access to the regular Old Pow, no additional quest is required. The entrance to EDDA: Old Pow is at the central fountain in Old Prontera.
  • Entering EDDA: Old Pow will convert your character to its pre-reborn or Expanded 1-1 version if you are Expanded 2. The maximum level is 99. To return to your normal stats, just talk to the fountain in Old Prontera. Relogging, closing the game, respecing, or any other type of exit from the EDDA: Old Pow maps will return your character to its normal form.
  • The monsters are the Pre-re versions that many of us know and are familiar with. The difference is in the name, which has "Old" as a prefix. The drop from these mobs is also as it was in pre-re. Additionally, all the mobs in EDDA: Old Pow have a small chance to drop a random Overseas Care Package (OCP), very valuable items that we brought to Pow from iRO and jRO; you can find more information on divine-pride or in our database.
  • The MVPs in EDDA: Old Pow drop Level 5 Rewards and have a high chance of dropping fixed OCPs. Here you can see the list.
  • 3 Level 5 Rewards can be traded for 1 random OCP box (OCP 31).
  • Your skill and status preferences are automatically saved and separated, meaning you can organize your shortcut bar without fear of losing the spaces when you return to your normal version.

Overseas Care Packages

  • I implemented OCPs from 1 to 42. OCPs from 43 to 58 are from episode 18+, and I hope to implement them when we advance episodes.
  • I recommend checking out the information on divine-pride to learn about the items you can obtain; there are many very valuable items available.

Poison Wings

  • I implemented Poison Wings. These can be obtained in the EDDA: Old Prontera Dungeon 2 - "eddap_dun02" map, where the Old Stratospider appears. They can be obtained by killing general mobs in the map or hunting the summoned Stratospider (90% drop!).
  • The wings can only be leveled by hunting Poison-element mobs and gain extra experience if the mob is level 120+.

April

Glast Heim Challenge Mode

  • I will implement this instance starting on April 5th, as we coordinated in the Roadmap. This instance is the first of several that are part of the content for more advanced episodes. These instances are special in Pow because they will not have custom modes (Hardcore or Insane), as the mechanics of the instance do not allow for these modes (they have a natural difficulty scaling).

Rework of the Training Introduction

  • The way the Elite Training system is introduced will change slightly, so that when you complete your Hierarchies, you will be awarded a few assignable points to familiarize yourself with the system. This system benefits new players more, as they have not learned any Training. The initial points are obtained as follows:
  • 1 Point for completing Foreigner.
  • 2 Points for completing Citizen.
  • 3 Points for completing Warrior.
  • 4 Points for completing Elite.
  • This means that completing your hierarchies will award a total of 10 Elite Training points.
  • What happens if I already have more than 10 Elite Trainings learned?
  • This introductory bonus will not apply to your character if you already have more than 10 Elite Trainings learned.
  • If I create a new character, will I get the 10 additional points?
  • Yes, the system will automatically apply to each character that has fewer than 10 assignable Elite Training points.
  • If I have 10 points learned, will I get 10 more points?
  • No, the system will only grant you up to the first 10 assignable points, meaning if you have 9 learned, it will bring you to 10, if you have 5, it will bring you to 10, and so on.

March

2da Semana

  • Super Novices can now equip all Two-Handed Swords.
  • Super Novices can now equip the Temporal Boots of Stats to combo with the Temporal Manteaus.
  • We created the Roadmap.
  • We introduced the Auras system.
  • We are planning a custom way to obtain Overseas Care Packages.
  • We are planning the use of Level 4 and 5 Rewards.
  • We made many adjustments and updated the information for Old Pow.
  • I added Bounty Boards in many cities and Illusion Dungeons, more info in the Roadmap.
  • We removed the method to obtain the Sealed Drake Card because the appropriate script does not exist in rAthena, and the current script is incorrect and terribly bad.
  • I increased the chance of obtaining Bio Experimental Fragments and Documents by 400% in EDDA:Bio Labs Farming Mode. This increase is separate from the use of Bubble Gums and your personal rates, meaning Bubble Gum still increases your percentage :D

February

1st Week

General Adjustments or Mechanics

  • The Pow Rates system no longer charges for downgrading from 5x to 1x rates, as long as you are level 99 or below.
  • I reduced the penalties for higher rates in the Pow Rates system considerably. More info here.
  • I halved the price for downgrading rates (Previous formula: Base Level x 30000 x stage) (New formula: Base Level x 10000 x stage).

  • I implemented the @cd/@cooldown/@instancesetting commands, these commands will show the instances available and/or the time you must wait before re-entering them. (Configurable with @instacesetting.). Additionally, there is an NPC version in the Safe House.
  • I added/modified a few items in the Item Exchange list. Notably, now you can exchange 10 Gold Ore and 25K Zeny for 1 Gold.
  • I reduced the value of the Gold item to prevent Zeny dilution, and with this change, I increased the chance of obtaining Gold through mining by a multiple of 7x! The aim of this change is to facilitate RK requirements.
  • The items obtainable as welcome packs from Kafra can now be sold to NPCs.
  • I adjusted the Invasion rewards, now you won’t earn Empathy Points, and they have been replaced with 1000104.png Magical Soapstones.
  • I accelerated the chat for several NPCs, including the one for learning training, now it's much faster and integrated into the custom visual effects system. I also implemented its NPC version in the Safe House.

  • I reorganized the Travel Agency. Now the teleports found are added to their normal category (City, Dungeon, Instance). Some maps are more dynamic, such as Payon Dungeon and Sphinx, which now appear like this in the Travel Agency, but expand when you choose them, allowing selection between the first level or the level discovered by teleport.
